Still Lifes

Still Lifes are fun to do. Unlike plein air, they give you the advantage of being able to compose a design by placing assorted objects together to your satisfaction. And unlike plein air, there are no time constraints because you don’t have to worry about swiftly changing light conditions owing to the movement of the sun. These paintings were done in oil on canvas and hardboard.
